The national game of Pakistan is Polo and Field hockey but the most famous game of Pakistan is cricket. There are also traditional games in Pakistan like kabaddi. In 1962 the board of Pakistan sports was created by ministry of education.
This board performs as commercial body for developing and promoting identical standards of sports competition in Pakistan that are comparable to international standards. On national origin Pakistan sports board also regulates and controls sports of Pakistan. Pakistan sports board controls sporting confederations that are 39 in number. Research has explored that Pakistan sporting activity has increased with the participation of many women and sportsmen contributing in many events nationally as well as internationally. Now more international tournaments are taking place in Pakistan than before.
